Sometimes add PB on the wall for extra insurance
This weird pretzel position somehow gives me control AND keeps him calm
Work on back paws first while maintaining face contact
Take breaks between paws for face snuggles (non-negotiable per Duke)

Results: What used to be a 45-minute wrestling match now takes 15 minutes. Last week I trimmed all nails in ONE session. The key was realizing Duke needs that physical reassurance - my face against his is like his security blanket.
