Easy way to start a movement
This Saturday is the AFSP Out of the Darkness walk in Virginia Beach. I plan to show up there with a giant sign that says, “Free Hugs.” This is the best way to get started, go to some event where there will be a lot of people and stand there with a huge sign that says Free Hugs. Record it and post it on social media with the hashtag #HugnLaugh or #HugandLaugh. Offer to tell a corny joke to people who approach you. This is often much easier than posting an event online, scheduling it, etc. Just show up where people already are and be a shining beacon of light. What do you think?
