Being in the ARMY helped me to learn that I can do more than I ever thought physically and mentally. Now I’m a dad with business and I’m back in school too to get another Degree in business. Years back I had learned about pushing myself but I would never believe doing so many things was a good idea. Now I go them all. My wife taught me so much. She is Chinese and she is driven like nobody I’ve ever met. Many immigrants are. She did two doctorate programs at the same time, one in Philadelphia and one in New York traveling so much barely home. Primarily done because she was accepted into the one doctorate then she was referred to the Acupuncture Institute which is the best in the country. She made so many connections and learned so much about running businesses in healthcare. She got her first jobs because of these schools and much respect from everyone despite her very difficult schedule. If not for these uncommon decisions we would not have a business. I built an office with my skills and she set up as a practitioner. I built the office in the nights and it took years whilst I worked and ran a real estate management company startup. I was wrong about her trying too much in this case and now I do many things at a time because I would be watching you tube or not being productive but with good ideas I just work at them as much as I can while switching to other tasks throughout the day. Don’t be afraid to spend on education and making connections. Don’t hesitate to replace consumption with productivity and force yourself to have to work more often for a few years. You will learn so much.
