For most of my life, I had one clear dream: to work for the Forest Service. I didn’t have a clean roadmap or anyone laying the path out for me. I just knew I wanted a life tied to the outdoors, service, discipline, and something bigger than myself.
Getting there wasn’t straight or easy. I went through the military, firefighting, law enforcement paths, moved states, doubted myself, failed, and questioned whether I was wasting time more than once. But step by step, I kept moving and eventually, that dream became real.
At the same time, there’s another dream that’s always been with me: becoming a pilot. That one hasn’t happened yet. And I’m not hiding that. I’m still chasing it, still learning, still figuring out how to do it the right way without blowing up my life.
My life hasn’t been a straight line, and I don’t think most meaningful lives are. What I’ve learned is that clarity doesn’t come from sitting still or overthinking. It comes from action trying things, adjusting, and staying in the game even when the path isn’t clear.
That’s why I’m building what I’m building now. I want to help people who feel stuck, unsure, or overwhelmed by choices turn that uncertainty into direction and momentum.
I’m not here because I’ve finished the journey. I’m here because I’m still on it and I’ve learned how to keep moving forward.
If you’re chasing something and don’t know exactly how to get there yet, you’re not behind. You’re just early.
