Why We Pray Through Generational Patterns
The purpose of this study is not to create fear or make us focus on darkness. The purpose is to bring every area of our lives into the light of Jesus Christ.
As we walk through these categories, some may apply to our family history and some may not. There may even be areas we are unsure about. That is why we repent, renounce, and surrender every area to God.
There is no danger in repenting for sin.
There is no danger in renouncing darkness.
There is no danger in asking Jesus to heal, cleanse, and restore every part of our lives and family line.
Whether a struggle came through personal choices, family influence, trauma, learned behavior, spiritual bondage, or generational iniquity, the answer is still Jesus Christ.
As you pray through these categories, ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart, reveal any hidden areas, and establish freedom where there has been bondage.
The goal is not to find a curse.
The goal is to find freedom.
The goal is not to glorify darkness.
The goal is to glorify Jesus Christ.
What may have operated for generations can stop with you through the power of Jesus Christ.
