Intro!
Hi, I’m Jazz — professional life packer, accidental cultural chameleon, and full-time expat.
I’ve moved across countries more times than I can count: U.S. ➡️ Norway ➡️ back to the U.S. ➡️ Italy ➡️ Denmark ➡️ now Belgium. At this point, I don’t unpack — I just rotate seasons 😅
I’ve learned how to:
Start over (multiple times)
Navigate healthcare systems in different languages
Find “home” in places that didn’t feel like home yet
Build friendships from scratch
And yes… figure out which grocery store carries what you actually need
But I’ve also learned this: Being an expat isn’t always glamorous.
It can be lonely. It can be frustrating. It can feel like you’re constantly figuring everything out the hard way.
So I’m starting this group — a space where we can be real about expat life. The good, the chaotic, the confusing, and the amazing.
Whether you’re moving abroad, already here, or just dreaming about it — you’re welcome.
