I’ve been in hospitality for 14 years, and honestly, I’ve seen it all – the good, the bad, and the absolutely rotten. From Barcelona to Bulgaria, from the Highlands to Land’s End, I’ve worked across the spectrum and taken something valuable from every step. Over the past few years, I’ve shifted into consultancy work, helping train bar and restaurant teams across the UK and beyond.
One thing that keeps coming up again and again? Most of the problems in hospitality stem from within – usually starting at the management level. It creates a domino effect that eventually reaches your team on the floor. That’s where service, morale, and sales start to suffer.
So, I’m building this community with one mission in mind: to support up-and-coming hospitality leaders. Whether you’re a junior manager just finding your feet or a senior manager looking to sharpen your edge, this space is for you.
Here, we’ll tackle day-to-day challenges, share real-life stories, and build tools to help you grow. I’ll offer guidance on how to navigate obstacles, how to motivate your team, and how to build a strong culture that keeps morale high and sales higher.
