Who Told You Who You Are?
Who told you who you are?
For years, I believed my circumstances had already written my story.
I lost my mom when I was just nine years old. I grew up in poverty, experienced rejection, and carried beliefs that quietly shaped how I saw myself. Without realizing it, I allowed my pain to become my identity.
It wasn't until I encountered the truth of who I am in Christ, and began to understand how our thoughts shape our lives, that everything started to change.
I discovered that healing isn't about pretending the past never happened. It's about refusing to let the past decide who you become.
Today, I have the privilege of helping others uncover the beliefs that have been holding them back and replace them with truth that brings freedom.
So let me ask you...
If I asked you, "Who are you?" would your answer be based on your past, your pain, your achievements, or on who God says you are?
I'd love to hear your answer in the comments. This is a safe space, and your story matters.
Welcome to this community. Let's discover our true identity together, one conversation at a time.
