Here comes February bye bye January!
January has been a bit of a roller coaster (I like roller coasters) and this month has not disappointed! Here in Southern Ontario we have had record amounts of snow, record low temperatures and an earthquake! (Plenty of fuel for some cool unit studies)
Personally, I had my birthday, had the flu (knocked me down for over a week), grew this Skool and attended our provincial library Conference (librarians are some of my favourite people and Free Books and SWAG!)
At the Homeskool Help Desk (online and IRL) we have been working on the classroom, singing the praises of our Homeschool Friendly training for Libraries, supporting Librarians and Homeschoolers.
One of my new clients came to me with her challenge, she would rather not homeschool but it seems the only option for their special needs child. So we r getting to work and supporting this family with the resources they need.
