Wisdom and Discernment.... ๐ค
Have you ever encountered something that seemed soooo good on paper, but the more you pray about it, the more you feel uneasy about it?
I'm going through that right now. As I'm learning and growing this business and brand, I want to be sure that I am following the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Without disclosing too much, there have been a few opportunities that look amazing on paper, but when I pray about it, there's an uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach. Something that doesnโt seem to add up.
For the last eight years, there have been three things our pastor has prophesied over our church:
- Do more with less
- Don't circumvent the process
- If you do those, you'll go further faster
I feel like, in this situation, I'd be circumventing the process. It could put me on a path to potentially zoom forward, BUT at what cost down the line?
How have you handled situations like this where you really want to say yes and explore the options in front of you, but deep down, you know there's something not quite right?
Although, it does remind me of the lyrics to a song, "One thing I know, one thing I've found....God will work it out." ๐๐พ
