Home Hero Institute Inc. is a veteran-founded nonprofit community development corporation operating in Shreveport, Louisiana. We run a federal Department of Labor registered trade apprenticeship in five skilled trades, a junior military leadership academy for youth, veteran transitional housing built by the apprentices we train, and Louisiana's first private military preparatory school opening in 2027. Our programs are led by veterans and serve veterans, youth, and working families across North Louisiana. We do not lower the bar. We build people up to reach it.
