AI Changing Careers over the next 2 years...
a good video for a long drive....From the Diary of a CEO episode featuring AI pioneer Yoshua Bengio):
On careers, he predicts machines may do “most of the jobs,” so he encourages focusing on human value: empathy, responsibility, real care, and roles where people still want people...it's a long video
🚨 Career watch for the next 24 months (AI edition):Jobs most likely to shrink fastest are the ones that are mostly:• writing + rewriting (first drafts, templates, basic copy)• scheduling + coordination (calendar, follow-ups, reminders)• routine customer support (chat/email with simple tickets)• basic research + summaries (compile, compare, report)• repetitive documentation + forms
Safer for now: work that needs hands-on physical presence (trades, on-site roles), because robotics isn’t moving as fast as software… yet.
✅ HRS strategy: shift from “I produce the draft” to “I run the system.” Learn prompting, workflow automation, QA checks, and escalation handling.
Question: Which bucket are you in right now: Draft Maker, Reviewer, or System Runner?
