Why You Need to Heal
Let me tell you a story, back a couple of years ago I used to struggle with my mental health.
I had a lot of trauma, anxiety, and depression and I unfortunately never took the initiative to, begin a healing process.
I said to myself for so long, "Oh it doesn't matter, it's fine, it's not a big deal and I'll be okay.
Mental health's gay, cringe, and only for women in a way so I don't need to do that. healing work" Because of this I really messed myself up and shot myself in the foot because I was neglecting the thing that would control, my fitness success, my business success, and etc.
It just got me thinking: you can't procrastinate on something as important as your mental health healing journey.
If you've got the thought in your head right now, "Oh I should be doing meditation, oh I should be healing my trauma daily, I should be meditating," you need to take initiative on that and don't delay it like I did for so long until I was at my wit's end.
You don't need to do that.
You can start before that and you probably should.
I will say however, FTE events, F*ck this events, can really be valuable.
To be honest until you get one of those you probably won't take your mental health journey seriously ever.
Maybe it was good that I delayed it until it was too bad but then again though I feel like some meditation, some gratitude journal, I should have been doing that before.
