Hi everyone 👋 and welcome! I’m so excited you’re here – this community is all about supporting pilots (and aspiring pilots) through the highs, lows, and everything in between on the journey to the flight deck.
Whether you’re just starting out or you’re well into your training, one thing I’ve learned as an instructor and mentor is:👉 The journey doesn’t have to feel confusing, overwhelming, or lonely.
Here in Her Flight Path, you’ll find:
- Clarity on the different stages of flight training – no more guessing.
- Mentorship from someone who’s walked the same modular route and knows the shortcuts.
- Community of like-minded people who actually get what you’re going through.\
🎯 Let’s kick things off with value:
Here are 5 lessons I wish every pilot knew before starting training (these will save you time, stress, and money):
- Training is not a straight line – weather, aircraft issues, and scheduling can cause delays. Expect it, plan for it, and don’t let it demotivate you.
- Hour building is your golden phase – it’s not just about logging hours, it’s about building skill. Fly new routes, challenge yourself, make every flight count.
- Ground school is a marathon, not a sprint – treat ATPL theory like a job: structure, routine, discipline.
- The right mentor can change everything – you don’t know what you don’t know until someone further ahead shows you.
- Mindset is your superpower – resilience, consistency, and self-belief are what carry you through the tough days.
💬 Your turn:Drop a comment below with where you are in your pilot journey right now.Are you thinking about starting? Studying for your PPL? Hour building? Wrestling with ATPLs? Let’s get to know each other!
This is your space – ask questions, share wins, and connect. I’ll be posting regular guides, videos, and mentorship lessons, but I want to hear from YOU too.
Welcome aboard – your flight path starts here 🚀
