When I first joined Skool, I honestly did not know where to begin.
I found Skoolers, but I still did not really understand what Skool was, where everything lived, or how people actually used it. I later found Skool 101(a course inside Skoolers), but much of it is geared towards people creating and growing communities. Simply joining Skool can bring up plenty of questions:
- How do I find groups that suit me?
- What are points and levels?
- Where is the Classroom?
- Is a paid community worth joining?
- Where should I ask a question?
- How do I know which communities are active?
And if you are thinking about creating your own community, a whole new set of questions appears:
- What should the group actually be about?
- Should it be free or paid?
- How do you find your first members?
- What do you post when nobody is there yet?
- How do you create a community people want to return to?
There is plenty of information available, but sometimes you do not need another course or someone telling you the “right” way.
Sometimes you just need a friendly place to ask:
“What would you do?”
“Does this make sense?”
“Can someone take a look at this?”
“Who could help me with this?”
That is why I created Help Wanted.
I am not here as a Skool expert. I am here to facilitate a useful, welcoming space where people can ask questions, get advice, request feedback, share recommendations, find people with useful skills and collaborate with one another.
Help Wanted is for the practical questions, decisions and human help that can be difficult to find when you are still working things out.
What are you here to find, join, learn or build and what help would make it easier?
