Mini System Drop:
Household OS Rule # 1:
If it repeats weekly, it needs a system.
In my home, we do laundry once per week. With a husband working onsite (I work remotely) and 2 babies, clothes can pile up very quickly. In my most chaotic moments, I feel overwhelmed and unprepared. To tackle this I follow a life-changing family laundry system.
Steal my system:
1) Do laundry weekly. Pick a day and stick to it.
2) Have a sorting station or bin in at least 2-3 places in your home.
3) treat any stains the night before laundry.
4) Do one load after the other. Sorting as they dry.
5)HERES WHERE I OFTEN GET STUCK.
📌 Sorting the clothes means everyone now has fresh clothes to wear....but we all hate to look through our piles. SO, I spend 2 days to fold and put away.
*If this doesn't work for you, fold your laundry the same day and put them away as each load dries.
6) Always have your supplies ready. Your laundry will delay if you're suddenly out of softener or detergent. 😫
7) Find your favorite settings on each machine.
8) Get the whole family involved if possible.
This system works well for me, but I hope I can hear from you too. 😄🎙🪄
