July is quietly set aside for us. It is Bereaved Parents Awareness Month, a whole month that says a parent who has lost a child deserves to be seen. I came across a study that has stayed with me. When parents who lost a baby were asked what they would do differently, the answer that came up most was that they wished they had made more memories. If you are early in your loss, hear this from me. It is never too late to make a memory, or to say your baby’s name out loud. Held by Daisy is a place to be held while you do.
