Choosing Healing Over Staying Stuck
Letting Go of Fear…
Fear is one of the most common emotions women experience after divorce. Sometimes it arrives loudly through anxiety and uncertainty. Other times, it quietly settles into our thoughts, decisions, and relationships without us even realizing it.
Fear can keep us emotionally stuck long after the relationship has ended.
Fear of being hurt again.
Fear of trusting the wrong people.
Fear of starting over.
Fear of loneliness.
Fear of failure.
Fear of not knowing what comes next.
When fear goes unaddressed, it can begin to shape the way we live.
It may cause us to:
  • Avoid new opportunities
  • Build emotional walls around our hearts
  • Doubt ourselves constantly
  • Settle for survival instead of pursuing peace and joy
  • Resist moving forward because the unknown feels overwhelming
Healing slowly teaches us something important:
Fear may be present, but it does not have to control your future.
1. What fears have surfaced during your healing journey?
2. How have you faced or challenged those fears?
forward despite uncertainty?
3. What would you do differently if fear no longer held you back?
