February often centers around Valentine’s Day — hearts, flowers, romance, and relationships. But this month, in our Let’s Talk: Healing, Growing, & Empowered Women’s Community, we’re shifting the focus.
Before we talk about loving someone else…
Before we celebrate partnership or companionship…
We ask the most important question:
How are you loving yourself?
Loving yourself first isn’t selfish. It’s foundational. It sets the tone for every relationship in your life — friendships, family, romantic partners, coworkers, even your relationship with your goals and dreams.
When you love yourself first:
- You set healthier boundaries.
- You stop accepting bare minimum effort.
- You speak to yourself with kindness instead of criticism.
- You choose environments that align with your peace.
Self-love isn’t just bubble baths and affirmations (though those are beautiful too). It’s:
- Resting when you’re tired.
- Saying no without guilt.
- Seeking support when you’re struggling.
- Forgiving yourself for past mistakes.
- Investing in your healing.
This Valentine’s Day, whether you’re partnered, single, healing, or somewhere in between, remember this:
đź’— You are not waiting to be chosen.
đź’— You are already worthy.
đź’— You are already enough.
✨ Weekly Reflection Questions:
- In what ways have I been neglecting myself?
- What does loving myself consistently look like?
- What is one boundary I can set this month as an act of self-love?
- How can I celebrate myself this Valentine’s Day?
