Introduce myself
Hello! I’m excited to be part of this community. I am passionate about travel, meeting new people, FOOD (yes, I love to eat), art, and education!
I’m an art educator and professional artist who loves helping students develop their skills while enjoying the creative process. I taught middle and high school art for six years. In the beginning of my career some 23 years ago, I taught pre-K. I currently serve as a director in higher education at a large state university. My role now focuses more on programming and managing people than on studio work, so I really miss the hands-on experience of teaching and creating alongside students. I’m new to Skool (created my community just two days ago so I have lots of work to do). I think it’s important that as educators we support each other. It’s nice to meet you!
