A price without a scope is only a guess. Include enough detail for another handyman to understand what can go wrong, how long the work should take, and what the customer is actually buying.
Before sending an estimate, make sure your price covers labor, materials, travel, overhead, risk, and profit. Do not price from the customer’s reaction. Price from the work required and the value of completing it correctly.
