The Reason...
I watch a lot of different Guitar Teachers, and courses and I don't think that they break things down as simply as they can be broken down for you. The goal for them is to KEEP you as a student, which from a business perspective makes perfect sense. But I want to make this free community so that you can refer to it's materials while learning guitar. There will be instructional videos up. There will be more than enough resources for you to get going.
Did you know that if you learn 1 technique I teach, you'll unlock being able to learn basic songs by yourself? I initially was going to name this community the "Campfire Player" community because of the end of goal of many of you...to grab a guitar and just play. I think that this is a strong move, but at the same time I don't want to limit you. You may want to go on and become the next Steve Vai, and I want to help you in this domain to get your fingers on the fretboard and you not SCARED to TRY.
I do in Person lessons too, and over webcam. It's an option for you. Watching the videos and reading the notes will do it, but if you're an in person kind of guy/gal, then I can accommodate that too. I have 10 extra spots per week I can fill, dependent on your time zone, and where you live.
