So it was only Larry and I at CH this morning and we had a blast.
We chatted about NZ beaches, Scotland, data centres...and guitar of course.
Some big takeaways:
- try playing with your eyes closed (great for aural training and removing reliance on our eyesight or if you have a crook neck!)
- bring out bass and melody
- look for inventive ways to bring out melodies (one way is to know which picking finger is responsible at any given point for playing the melody note(s))
- tuning using natural harmonics
- and probably some more stuff that I've forgotten
Enjoy and we'll see more of you at the next one!
