What Does It Mean to Have a Prayer Altar?
A prayer altar is not about building a physical structure. Under the New Covenant, it is a dedicated place and consistent lifestyle of meeting with God through prayer, worship, and His Word.
Your greatest altar is your heart, fully surrendered to God.
To build a prayer altar:
  • Choose a quiet place where you can consistently meet with God.
  • Bring your Bible and a journal.
  • Begin with worship and thanksgiving.
  • Pray God's Word and His promises.
  • Spend time listening as well as speaking.
  • Be consistent.
Remember: It's not the place that makes it holy, it's your consistent relationship with God.
"Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your true worship." Romans 12:1
