Say it out loud. Field Guide Lesson 3
What You Need to Know
Be bold enough to say the idea out loud and pressure test it with the people you care about.
How to Do It
Write down the idea first. Then do some surface-level research. It can be as simple as Googling the idea to see what pops up. If there are fifty businesses already doing the idea you have, ask yourself how yours would be different. Map out how it would be different and put some preliminary research into it. Then non- chalantly bring up your idea to people who will give you some quick, honest feedback.
The old saying, “When one door closes, another one opens” is true. Be bold enough to say the idea out loud and pressure test it with the people you care about. Saying it out loud and waiting for the reaction will be the easiest part of your idea’s journey. You never know unless you try. The feeling in your gut is the universe trying to tell you something.
