How much would you pay for a lead in your business?
It's a question I ask teachers a lot. The most common question I get about running a teaching business is: how do I get students?
Organic content marketing can be a great way, but paying for leads can also make it faster. But there's the cost factor.
I'm working on a little project that will help teachers capture leads FAST and be able to set up on a rainy weekend afternoon. But I have a few gaps. One is about comfort in cost per lead.
I'd love to hear from you - honestly - how much you are willing to pay for a lead for your business not knowing if they'd sign up for:
  • 1 class
  • 1 year of classes, or
  • no classes at all.
What feels right?
I made a quick poll, but feel free to add other options if nothing suits.
I'm excited to share more about the mini project soon, but think "set up your business in a weekend and generate leads right away" - still have some kinks to work out.
Excited to hear your thoughts.
I'd never pay
$20-$50
$50-$100
$100+
