CPD Standards Office Accreditation for one 'activity'
In the UK there are various CPD organisations and I went with the CPDSO who (without any questions) accredited my OET Ready course. It is worth 6 CPD hours as part of a professional's portfolio. I have four more activities that I can get accredited now and am considering which ones to do. One option is to make a single seminar into a leader for the longer course. I'm thinking of a longer running receptive skills program (this can be adapted to B2-C1), a shorter 'productive skills course' aimed at improving those skills up one CEFR level, a 90 minute study skills seminar (how to record yourself, use transcription, use AI for speaking, use an SRS) and one other, possibly for a new high value client. Nice decisions to make. I am reminded of Leo saying 'teachers put a lot of effort into designing activities but not so much into designing courses'.
