Have you ever needed to label geometry directly in Grasshopper?
In this video, I show the difference between using a simple text tag and Text 3D in Grasshopper.
This is useful when you want to label surfaces, panels, parts, or any geometry inside Rhino.
The main idea is simple:
  • Text tag is good for quick screen-based labels
  • Text 3d is better when the text needs real placement
  • Surface frames help align text with tilted geometry
  • Justification helps control how the text sits on the point or plane
