Have you ever needed to explain your Grasshopper colors with a legend?
In this video, I show a simple way to create a legend inside Grasshopper using native components.
This is useful when you want to communicate categories, color codes, analysis results, or different geometry conditions more clearly.
The main idea is simple:
- Colors show the visual categories
- Tags explain what each color means
- A rectangle gives the legend a clear placement area
- Multiline data keeps the labels organized properly
