“Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.” — James 3:13 💜
This verse reminds us that true wisdom isn’t about how much we know, but about how we live it out. Each of us has strengths — and weaknesses. That’s the beauty of the body of Christ! Where I may be strong, someone else might need help, and where I’m weak, someone else can lift me up. 🌿
It can be as simple as giving a homeless person a cold drink on a hot day, holding the door for someone, or encouraging a friend when they’re down. Big or small, these acts of service show the world God’s love through us.
👉 Question for you today: What’s one way you can use your strength to help someone else this week?
💬 My Answer: My husband and I have been praying for a better job for him. He has an amazing job now, but it isn't working out for a few reasons. God answered our prayers by randomly having a recruiter reach out to him with a job that checked more boxes than we asked for! He has thankfully been approved for the position so we will now be in a position to help people in our community! We have decided to order backpacks and fill them with essentials and a bible. Along with that we will pass out drinks and sandwiches. We are so excited to share this gift from God with people who need it. We wouldn't be able to do anything like this without God hearing our prayers and being proud of the way our hearts are changing with truly putting Him first in our life and leaning into His word for our wisdom! 🥰
