What really helps your swing a lot is your backswing. If you want more power and consistency, you’ve got to fix that first.An easy way to do it is: when you start your backswing, swing it like a putter—basically, move your back first, and then let your arms follow.The next part is making sure your club is parallel to the floor—like, when your arms are halfway back, the club should be level.And then, make sure your club head is pointing toward your target, not off to the side.
These steps really helped a lot with my consistency and distance.
