My first Eagle

Hey team, wanted to share an exciting milestone that occurred on my early morning round of golf today. I made my first Eagle!!! . I know you’ll all appreciate how rare these are so thought I’d share. I’m buzzing, and on an absolute high!! Not sure how I’m expected to work today after that 😂.

For those interested it was the 9th hole (par 4) at Nambour Golf club. I Hit the drive 270m onto the green and drained the 2m putt. Euphoric moment! Not sure if it’ll ever happen again so I’m going to savour the moment. 😂

Why I mention this is that 2 years ago when I started playing golf I never thought I’d be able to drive the ball that far and that accurately nor have the nerve to execute the putt under that pressure. These are skills (both physical and mental) I’ve gained from the SCGC team and it wouldn’t have been possible without their guidance and growth environment!! Thanks team!!
