Looking ahead this week, it's Portugal Day on Wednesday 10th, which is a public holiday and celebrated as the 'Day of Portugal, Camões, and of the Portuguese Communities' around the world.

The date of the holiday was chosen to commemorate the death of Portugal’s most celebrated author, Luis de Camões, which occurred on that day in 1580.
