Accident on the Glória funicular
This just posted on the AP newswire. https://apnews.com/article/streetcar-derails-lisbon-d63600ff5092969b088507bbccf44aab?utm_source=onesignal&utm_medium=push&utm_campaign=2025-09-03-Portugal It looks like they misidentified a funicular for a tram. Based on the service disruption on the Carris website, it was on the Glória funicular, which is assigned route number 51E. Sadly, there appears to be a large loss of life.
