What’s one habit that changed your mindset or built your character?
For me?
Going to the gym - regardless of how I felt.
It wasn’t about getting abs or lifting heavy (lowkey was a little bit 😂). That came later.
What really changed was who I became because of it.
• Discipline:
I stopped negotiating with myself. No more “I’ll go tomorrow.” It became non-negotiable like brushing my teeth. That discipline started leaking into everything: uni work, waking up early, sticking to my word.
• Confidence:
Not the fake, loud kind. I’m talking quiet confidence. The type you build by doing hard things alone. The type you earn by showing up for yourself when no one’s watching.
• Transferable Skills:
Consistency. Delayed gratification. Mental toughness. Focus. Even time management. All from just showing up, one workout at a time.
The gym didn’t just change my body.
It became the training ground for life.
