Foods to Be Mindful of When Managing Acid Reflux
Today, I'm sharing a quick overview of foods that some people choose to limit when managing gastroesophageal reflux disease and acid reflux.
When cooking meals that support gentle digestion, it can help to be mindful of ingredients such as the following:
• heavily fried foods
• very spicy dishes
• high-fat sauces
• heavily processed foods
• acidic foods in large amounts
At Gentle Plates Kitchen, we focus on balanced meals featuring vegetables, plant-based ingredients, lean proteins, herbs, and thoughtful cooking techniques.
The goal is not restriction, but learning how to prepare meals that feel nourishing and comfortable for the body.
Question for the community: Have you noticed any foods that affect your digestion more than others?
