27kg down in 16 weeks
My weight loss journey:
I’ve been wanting to write this for a long time.
In 2022, I was at my heaviest—127kg (see photo on the left). Over the next 3 years, I did lose some weight, but I could never truly reach my goals or stay consistent. It was very up and down—sometimes more down than up.
On 12 January 2026, everything changed. After receiving quite a few comments about my weight over December, I looked at myself in the mirror and saw 117.5kg on the scale. Right there and then, I made a decision: enough is enough.
Fast forward 16 weeks—I now weigh a healthier 90kg. I’m not yet where I want to be, but I now have a clear, achievable goal and I’m more consistent than ever.
This post is just a short summary. My full journey, along with inspiration (like Jaun-Marie Vermeulen’s journey), as well as programs and sessions with fitness coaches, will be available in the “Skool of Success – Health” section.
It’s a process that takes time—but it starts with a clear vision.
I’ll be recording the course content starting this month—I’m really excited!
