What drives your engagement?

In September,

were hosting the Networking challenge in this community, with the primary goal of connecting people and the secondary goal of getting the Star.

I've always loved connecting with people, and have always loved supporting good people doing good things, so I started to spend more time engaging here.

Really, it was just about the spirit of the game - I wasn't even aware there were prizes.

That's how you know you have something great - when people willfully engage simply because it's fun to do.

Lo and behold, that spirit of playful engagement got me to the top of the leaderboard for September and I won a free audiobook of He Who Fights With Monsters (I've read through the first 3, and have been on a bit of a break, but am very excited to jump into #4 here!).

What other community does that?! A real tangible reward for my online interactions!
