Help with Week 1, please!
Hey all I am really torn with what direction "niche" I want to take my coaching program. Please read my two example below and provide feedback. The first option came from a flow state in which I really opened up with my story and I am not sure if I want to pigeon hole myself ... looking forward to your thoughts and many thanks in advance
My Example Story -
Option 1: My program helps individuals find their spiritual purpose so they can live a life of meaning and direction doing what they love.
My mother used to pay me to wear a dress! Sunday morning would roll around, waking up dreading the next few hours. Feeling gross and out of place forced to wear clothing that you can’t stand! Being born in a body labeled as female, yet knowing with every inch of your soul that doesn't resonate created a constant state of chaos and confusion. There were many times that I tried to deny myself, specifically in middle school I remember wanting to grow my hair out, buy girl shoes and shorts vs my typical male attire from elementary school. Eventually, I become so depressed, unfulfilled and abusive to myself and others I ended up in an adolescent rehabilitation center. AMAZINGLY, this facility introduced me to spirituality via Native American vision questing. This opened the first door of self acceptance for me where I was able to identify myself as a Lesbian. I fell in love with spirituality and started to contemplate the limitless possibility of energy outside of the bounds of the third dimensional framework.
Growing deeper in my understanding and self knowledge I accepted that I was a Man, something that I knew deep at the soul level very early on yet took me over 30 yrs to actualize. I have been living as my authentic gender for over 10yrs now. My body, mind and soul feel more in alignment than ever before. Knowing my purpose has allowed me to leave my fulltime job and find my tribe of individuals who want me to help them. Thus creating an energy exchange from fullness freedom vs. systemic control and regulation. Others see me for who I truly am. I am able to help people from a place of self-love and fulfillment, allowing me to receive abundance and live in purpose. How do you want your story to unfold?
Option 2:
My program helps practitioners create a streamlined healing business from a place of spiritual growth So that they can expand their healing far beyond themselves like the roots and shoots of a growing tree.
8 yrs ago when I began my work as a Holistic Clinic Manager my first day was spent watching the practitioners' adorable 8 month old while trying to scribble poorly written receipts and hustle patients into treatment rooms. Let’s just say we were all a little overwhelmed. This clinic had a long history of serving the community, with well established results and an extraordinarily talented practitioner. THIS CLINIC WAS ALSO A HOT MESS!
Today, the practice has a real estate holding, several practitioners working under them. They are asked to speak at industry specific conferences as they are considered a leader in their field. Has a waiting list of patients and enjoys having the time to go running every morning, travel with the family, and practice meditation and yoga on a daily basis. They have also developed their own teaching modality which allows them to expansively help patients far beyond their dreams. How many people can you reach?
