Hi all,
It's been a long while since I had any activity here. I waa going through a lot of issues on the personality front so went off the grid.
Now that I am back and seeing posts of everyone, I could see one common thing, the discussion about reviews. One thing that i have learned in almost a decade of experience in book marketing is that reviews aren't just for the sake of it. The way they are written and done also counts. It is necessary to think beyond with a unique approach as there are billions of books listed to Amazon on a routine basis.
And before reviews, it is even more important to be clear about the objective with which you wrote the book in the first place. The objective will make a huge difference in the entire marketing strategy.
So, yes, reviews are important, but the objective behind getting them should be well-defined too.
