Series B is an interesting time. They have a pretty good idea of what they're doing, but still early enough to where you could have a lot of fun and ownership if you joined.
You have more resources to execute while the upside is still there.
I think it's the sweet spot for both people who've never worked in a startup and want to try it out, and people who are very experienced startup operators.
We at Twill like to work with this stage of company because they're hiring/growing like crazy and have the budget to keep up.
