"How artists make money" Podcast
Hey guys,
I mentioned this in the last office hours, but wanted to drop it here too.
There's a podcast by Kevin Parry called How Artists Make Money and it's worth your time.
What I love about it is the variety. He talks to artists from all kinds of backgrounds and you realize quickly there isn't one path. There are dozens. Sometimes inside the same career.
That's the part I want you to pay attention to.
Multiple income streams. Not everything riding on one client.
Not everything riding on one type of work. Many small things stacked next to each other.
Over the years, that stacks into something stable. Stable in a way one big client never is.
One client can disappear in a week.
Five small ones disappearing in the same week is way less likely.
Go listen.
Pick one episode that catches your eye. Then pick another.😊
