🌿 Buddhism & The Garden of Liberation: What Buddhadāsa Warned Us About the Modern World

In a world now ruled by surveillance, biometric IDs, digital addiction, and media manipulation — it might surprise you to know that a humble forest monk from Thailand foresaw it all.

Not with politics.

Not with data.

But with a deep understanding of the mind.

Buddhādāsa Bhikkhu wasn’t your average monk. He was a radical truth-seeker who stripped away religious dogma and called out illusion in all its forms. Capitalism, communism, materialism, and even mainstream Buddhism — none were safe from his clear gaze.

He didn’t believe in “ism”s. He believed in freedom.

🔍 The Matrix He Warned Us About

Today, we talk about “The Matrix” as if it’s some futuristic system.

But Buddhadāsa saw it forming decades ago:

Buddhādāsa spoke of a place called The Garden of Liberation — not just a physical location, but a spiritual state.

A space within, where the mind is free.Where we’re no longer hypnotized by illusion.Where we remember what it means to be — instead of being manipulated into endless doing.

This is more than philosophy.

It’s a rebellion. A refusal to participate in the control grid. A call to wake up and return to simplicity.

🧘‍♀️ My Reflection

As someone who has spent years exposing mind control, psychological warfare, and global agendas, I reached a point where I no longer wanted to just fight the system…

I wanted to transcend it.

Buddhādāsa’s teachings didn’t just give me insight — they gave me peace. They reminded me that liberation isn’t out there, it’s within.

As I continue to follow my journey - I leave the west and the chaos of the statutory system in the Netherlands (and my civil lawsuit with my ex-host), to my next chapter that takes me back to Thailand and back to absolute truth, and the dear sisters and monks of Thailand.
