Does anyone here successfully use shorts to grow their business?
Genuinely curious since it feels like every single day I advise people not to waste their time on them...
Here's my take (& this is very much based on stats that Alex Hormozi shared)
- Shorts viewers are shorts viewers. Nearly no one clicks on the link to your long-form content
- Shorts don't convert (the only place to put links is in the description, and people dislike leaving the platform)
- Shorts are mostly for entertainment
What they are good for though is:
- Reminding your existing audience you exist
- Building brand awareness
(both those two are not something I'd concern myself with when having less than 10k-50k returning viewers)
