Hey everyone,

Quick update from the networking session on Monday! I reached out to two Senior Analysts on LinkedIn—just a casual InMail, no expectations—and within two days, one of them replied. He shared some great insights about industry trends and how I can update my profile.

The second connection got back to me today. Turns out, He lives in Dallas too! We exchanged numbers, and he is now introducing me to an IT Finance Director from his company—the group I’m aiming to work with. Even better, the director lives in my town, so we’re planning to meet in person soon. Apparently, she knows about open roles that haven’t even been posted yet!

Honestly, I used to think no one would respond to cold messages, but this experience proved me wrong. Stay patient, keep the faith, and approach things without expectations—it all seems to fall into place. I’ll keep you posted on how it goes from here!
