Proof you can do hard things
Quick life update because I’m honestly proud of myself 🥲
Yesterday my boyfriend and I did a LONG drive for the final stretch of my move. We started in South Florida, packed my entire car Sunday after church, said goodbye to my closest friends, and hit the road.
We drove to the west coast of Florida, unloaded some stuff, stayed at his uncle’s house for the week, then went to Georgia for the weekend with literally all my stuff still in the car 😅 Of course a few things went wrong — speeding ticket, cracked windshield, just one of those weeks.
Sunday we got back in the car, windshield broken, car packed to the brim, and drove straight to South Carolina, getting to my house around 9 p.m.
Oh, I may have forgot to mention I have a cat.
Everything you’re seeing here was done in 24 hours. And somehow I still made time to exercise, show up for my family, show up in my relationships, and show up for myself — without feeling like I was sacrificing one for another. I spent so much quality time with my family today, which made this whole thing feel even better. It was definitely hard (especially when my little brother came in and destroyed everything 😭), but I’m really proud of what I was able to do.
