Happy Beltane, all!
The world around me is coming back to life after the winter sleep and it is a time to celebrate.
Like Samhain, May eve is a time when the veil between the natural world and the supernatural thins.
Witches and fairies roam freely this night. Ward yourself against their enchantments.
Fire plays a symbolic roles and smoke and flame were thought to bless and purify.
Traditionally hearth fires were extinguished and relit with fire taken from a communal bonfire, drawing on themes of social bonds and shared protection.
Light a candle and let the flames draw you in.
