Warm Welcome and Introduction
First I would like to give a big thank you to Bob for inviting me into this collective community and also say thank you're kind and encouraging words that was very nice of you. I can say this that myself and many others are lucky to have you.. A little bit about myself my name is Bodvoc although I have been called so many names over the years.. I train mainly these days with my brother as we find ourselves often moving from one remote location to another and we focus on the Pekiti Tirsia Kali myself am fascinated by the empty hands for close quarter combat which in this system is called Pangamut which I'm sure most of you are familiar with.. But it was always fascinated me about the Sinawali and how this practice can be transferred to an empty-handed system which trained properly is very effective. Where we are based presently it is smarter to learn to defend with hands even against weapons than it is to carry them to defend yourself just makes more sense so we both would like to progress to stage where we can teach this knowledge to others. Before our story was rewritten for us all we were able to defend ourselves as both men and women as children were taught this is obvious when you look back through the rich heritage and so I believe for the most part the level of conflict and violence was minimal due to the fact we all knew that we could intact inflict as much damages to others and the could do the same back I think there is a certain code of honour and respect with in that and that can be seen primary today in most of the martial arts or combat world. Some peace I feel can be taken from that and in that very philosophy is the reason I enjoy these arts and skills. Anyway I don't have much video content or any to speak of right now but just to be given opportunity to meet like minded people means a lot. Hope to meet and speak to many and learn from more of you in the near distance future..
