Jesus is Crucified - Good Friday
For the first time ever I created a Good Friday graphic to include a Roman soldier. I have always reserved this space for our Lord. Sometimes I see His Mother, Our Blessed Mother, as their relationship is so entwined, however never any other human being.
This year, I am reminded that I am the Roman soldier, I am the crowd yelling “crucify him”, “away with him, give us Barabbas”, I am Pontius Pilate. We all are.
Today I say I am sorry, today I pray I am the criminal on the cross beside Jesus acknowledging His Lordship over my life. Jesus my God, my all.
