Sanding the Inside of a Stocked Acrylic Reef Tank.
I have done this before and had good results, so I ordered a new set of sanding pads from Mighty Magnets and this is 1000 grit. I've learned that taking it slow and getting all of the scratches possible at the lowest grit is best, so I will get more at this grit tomorrow and then go to 1500... I have several grits up to 12000 which is a very slick polish. The haze you see is slightly cloudy water from the sanded acrylic which will run through the filter as well as the sanded areas of the display panel... basically the entire front of the tank. I will change my filter media daily until it's done.
